Three Months in Paris

I spent the second semester of my masters degree living in Paris, France, for 3 months. It was during this time that I first started my blog as a way to keep in touch with my friends and family!

Below you’ll find all my posts from my time living in Paris. Bonus trips to London, Brussels, Geneva and a surprise trip home are also included for your pleasure  🙂 There are 17 in total… my lucky number in case you didn’t know!

How long did you live in Paris? Three months. From the start of January to the end of March 2013.

Where did you live in Paris? I lived in the 16th Arrondissement. Paris is divided into 20 arrondissements (or districts). The 16th is generally known as one of the more exclusive residential areas of Paris and is home to many Embassies, prestigious schools and ‘high society’ residences. Think of New York’s Upper East Side, or London’s Kensington, and you’ll understand what I’m talking about. I consider myself very lucky to have gotten the opportunity to experience Paris from this area – thank you parents. I was a 3 minute walk from Trocadéro (viewing point for the Eiffel Tower) and could reach the base of the Eiffel Tower in about 10 minutes.

What college/university did you study in? I was studying at Institut Supérieur du Commerce de Paris – aka ISC. It is located in Levallois-Perret just outside le périphérique (the ring road around Paris).
