I’ve been ridiculously inconsistent with blogging recently. But this is all about to change. Last year I took part in NaBloPoMo, or National Blog Post Month, and this year I thought, why not do it again? In November 2013 I was nearing the end of my 15 month Master Degree with the heaviest academic workload I have ever experienced, so this should be a walk in the park compared to 2013.. Fingers crossed!
As many of you know, last year I failed NaBloPoMo on the very last day of November. This year, I’m going into it somewhat prepared; so I’ve devised a type of weekly schedule to give me some helpful direction over the next 30 days.
Meatless Monday …where I share some of my favourite veggie recipes with you (one year vegetarian and counting 🙂 )
Tuesday Ten …where I list 10 things about, well, anything that tickles my fancy.
Wanderlust Wednesday …where I talk about travel, culture and the odd update on my language learning.
Throwback Thursday …where I throwback to yesteryear, complete with embarrassing photos and equally cringeworthy anecdotes.
Friday Favourites …where I share some of my favourite things of the moment with you!!
Saturday Scribbles …where I can pretty much discuss absolutely anything I like. Everyone needs one of those days.
Silent Sunday …where I post a photo and nothing but a photo and you can attempt to decipher what I was thinking!
I’m not saying I will religiously stick to my new schedule – when inspiration strikes and all that – but it’s a start. One thing’s for sure, I am determined not to fail on the last day this year; Game face on!
Are you taking part in NaBloPoMo 2014? Are you a planner with topics organised and scheduled to go up one certain days? Or are you an inspired blogger that seeks spontaneity daily? NaBloPo 2013 introduced me to the wonderful blogging community, and I’ve made some fantastic friends because of it. If you’re in the NaBloPoMo Class of 2014, don’t forget to say hi and leave your links down below – I can’t wait to fall in love with your blogs this November!
