Dia dhaoibh a chairde! I am home sweet home for a week. Arrived into Cork yesterday at 3pm and already I’ve seen so many of my favourite people! As many of you know, my homecoming was a HUGE surprise for my little brothers. A couple of nights ago I had a dream that one of them cried when he saw me, and spookily my dream came true. It was scarily accurate! The poor little man looked as if he saw a ghost when he finally saw me hiding behind the open doors of the fridge and freezer. I came bearing gifts: Eiffel Towers filled with sweets and a couple of boxes of delicious Ladurée macarons!
Today was, simply, a great day. I indulged in a little bit of pampering and got my hair done – I’m now officially blonde again. I can never stay dark for too long. I feel 17/20 and 22 all at once 🙂 I got a discount on my hair AND a complimentary coffee from my fav café because they missed me coming in – being a regular has its perks! My mum, brother and I also had afternoon tea in the beautiful Hayfield Manor as a treat for Mother’s Day. A week early I know, but I’ll be back in Paris by next Sunday! I’ll be between Cork, Limerick and Dublin all week so if anyone wants to meet up, you know how to reach me!
